Our story

Started from a neck injury and a budget printer

In late 2017, a serious neck injury sidelined me from my skydiving work. To stave off boredom, I bought a budget 3D printer and started learning CAD and 3D printing. Despite its simplicity, that first machine let me design and create a few useful products. When I returned to work, I brought along some of my own printed camera gear, and soon others were asking for custom items too. That's how Triple D was born.

As the business grew, so did the printers, skills and projects. I began experimenting with 3D scanners, refining my designs and pushing what was possible. In the years since, I've produced countless custom pieces for skydivers and customers around the world.

Today, with my sixth and seventh printers running strong, I've made parts and products for boats, cars, campervans, fishing gear, RC cars, musicians, beekeepers, knitting machines, bands, motorbikes, adventure tourism operators, filmmakers, road cyclists, plumbers, carpet layers, chefs, coffee roasters, pilots, planes, paragliders, sim racers, potters, spa pool owners, glaziers, drone pilots, builders, Girl Guides, toy libraries, chiropractors, HVAC specialists and more.

If you've got an idea you'd like to bring to life, let's chat. Chances are, I can 3D print it for you.
